We build our collection around fit first — pieces that move with you, flatter without trying too hard, and hold up to real life. Fabrics with substance. Silhouettes that make sense for wherever you're headed that day, whether it's brunch, a board meeting, or nowhere in particular. Nothing chasing a trend that will look dated in six months.
Confidence, to us, isn't loud. It's a woman who knows exactly what she's putting on and why it works.
OUR STORY
Olivia & James Charleston opened its doors in 2019, on a quiet street just off King Street, with one clear intention: dress women the way they actually wanted to be dressed — not the way the mannequins in every other window suggested.
Olivia had spent years in retail, watching women leave dressing rooms disappointed more often than not — not because nothing fit, but because nothing felt like them. James, her husband and business partner, brought the eye for quality and sourcing that turned that frustration into a boutique worth walking into. What started as a single rack of hand-picked pieces grew into a full collection, one loyal customer at a time.
Now, for the first time, we're opening those same doors to women who don't live anywhere near Charleston. Same care in every piece. Same belief that getting dressed should feel like relief, not a chore.
